Christmas celebrations 2023

 It was an awesome day spent dancing with friends, watching the circability glow in the dark acts, eating yummy food and getting a present to open at this year's 2023 Christmas party. I had a great time! See you all back here in 2024.

Karaoke with friends

 I love to sing all my favorite songs in Karaoke with my friends helping to sing along. It's always great to pull out the instruments and have a go on them and play to the rhythm. 

Centre shopping

 I love to help out to do centre shopping. I've gotten good at know where to find the items on the shopping list that we need. I'm always first to put my hand up to push the trolley! 

River fun

I had fun hanging out at the River at Whakamarama. I enjoyed having a picnic lunch there with my friends. 

Greerton Library

 I had a nice time at Greerton Library looking at some cool books about earthquakes! We also had a look at an opshop while out which was cool

Fergerson park beach

 I had an amazing time at Fergerson Park. I went hunting for crabs and bought it over to show my friends. I was friendly and said hi to anyone who walked past. It was a great morning out in the sea air.

Friendship games

 I had a great morning with my friends playing a dice game. I rolled the dice and had to a task depending on what number I got. I had to make animal noises, show off my dance moves, give my friends a compliment and hold my breath, just to name a few! It was lots of fun.

 

Free furniture

 I volunteered to help go to get some free furniture. We managed to pick up 3 new chairs, 2 new tables and a storage unit. I was strong and helped lift things to the van.

Bellvue wetlands

 I enjoyed going for a nice walk with I-walkers through the Bellvue wetlands. It was great to be out in the fresh air on such a nice day.

Olives Donkey Farm

 It was nice to see Olive again and help out to tidy the farm. 

Tenpin fun with friends

 I had a great morning out with my friends going to play a round of tenpin bowling and a few arcade games! We all had so much fun together it was a great way to end the week.

Centre shopping

  This week I had a list of things to go and buy for the centre. I got everything done on the list including getting the van tires checked and some petrol too! 

Hard at work

  Me and a group of my guy mates went down to the local carpet shop looking for some spare scrap carpet to put in the tunnel house to make it safe to walk. Here I am carrying it back to the centre, my muscles came in handy! 

Discovery, propagation

Had a neat day in Discovery, planting seeds of my choice.

 

Friendship and games

 I had fun working with my friends to play the game 'who wants to be a million air'.  My friends and I worked together to pick The right answers. 

Exploring a new park.

 I had a great time exploring a new park in Hirini. I went for alovely walk and saw a couple of horses and had fun on the playground. 

Kopurererua discovery

 I had a great day in the sun with my friends exploring kopurererua valley. I spotted some insects and native birds and trees. It was a fun day out.

Story time

I enjoyed listeneing to a story about a kiwi bird and acted out my part. I was the big green tree. I had lots of animals in my tree! My friends and I all had a great laugh. 

Beach walk and discovery

 I enjoyed going for a walk along the beach to see what I could spot with the discovery group. It was too windy to go out on the sail boats this week so I enjoyed some beach discovery instead.

Happy attitude tshirt

 I loved making my 'happy attitude' t-shirt this week. It turned out awesome and I can't wait to wear it. It's my favorite colour red! 

Goodneighbour tour

 I enjoyed going for a tour around goodneighbour hub where everyone does lots of volunteering. Everyone was so friendly. They do some awesome work down there and I would love to give them a hand some time.
