The I-sing Christmas performance was an amazing day, all the rehearsals throughout the year really paid off! I proudly sand Guy Sebastians "Angels Brough Me Here" and I was great! We finished the day off with a yummy kfc lunch and fresh fruit with ice ream for desert, mmm what a treat!
I spent the afternoon playing pool with some friends at the marble bar. It was our last “frenz time” session for the year.
I went down to our local sonic cinema to watch "Bad Guys". It was so funny! It also had some really good life skill lessons in it, one of them being its never too late to change your ways.
We are currently rehearsing our Christams play. I play the character of ........ It's going to be such a hit!
What a lovely day exploring all that the historic village has to offer. From the amazing art exhibition, to food stalls where I tried an Indian pancake, playing corn hole to feeding and petting lambs! I’d love to go again with mum.
I danced the day away with all of my friends on Friday. We had a purple disco and the room was decorated with cool purple decorations. I wore a purple tie to match the occasion and I looked handsome. The sandwiches were also a big plus!
I enjoyed stretching my legs and getting some fresh air while taking some cute doggies from puppy love dogs for a walk.
I enjoyed a relaxing soak in the hot water at the Mount Maunganui hot pools. It was very quiet there so I had the water slide to myself which was awesome! I got to side down it many times.
We took a trip out to Katikati to visit the Athenree homestead where we had a tour and learnt what life was like 150 years ago, before there was electricity!
My friend Crimson and I went down the 15th Ave SPCA op shop where we volunteered our time. I walked up and down the aisles, tiding up the clothes racks, making sure the clothes were hung on the hangers properly. I tidied up the book and CD section too. I had such a great time, helping people out when I can always makes me feel happy!
This week my Discovery group delivered freshly baked banana cakes to the "Under the Stars" organisation, who provide food for the homeless and people in need. It is a nice act of service that we are paying forward. In the afternoon we went to Anzac park and the Greerton library.
We went to Greerton shops today, I enjoyed browsing the op shops and chatting to the staff about potentially volunteering with them. I’d be a great helper. We finished off our outing at the library, listening to a lady play the harp. It was so soothing I could’ve fallen asleep!
I went sailing today!! I’ve really missed being on the water so it was great to be back in the boat today. While I was sailing in the sun there was a bbq cooking, ready and waiting for us when we got back. I gobbled down my steak sammie and had another haha!
