Sports ~ Cricket

This week our sports group went to Memorial Park. I had fun playing cricket with my friends. 

Connect 20

 It was good going to socialise at connect 20 this week at the citizens club with my friends. I had a nice cold drink and ran into my old friend jack who use to come to Arohanui and it was nice to catch up with him. 

Spider discovery

 This week in discovery I loved learning bout some different types of spiders! Then I did a science experiment to see what it’s like for a spider to walk in it’s web and worked on my spider book.

Laughing Yoga

 Ha ha ha ha we laughed and we laughed at laughing yoga.

Collecting Manuka Seeds

 I went for a walk at Gordon Carmichael Reserve. I spotted Manuka plants and collected the seed pods to take back to the centre. They have heaps of red seeds in them and when they open we can sow them and grow our own.

Cafe visit

 I had a great morning visiting the cafe in McClarens Falls Patk. I had a cheesecake with chocolate on top and a drink and we chatted to each other and had a look at the Visitors Centre. Yum yum! 

Talentquest

 We had such a fun Talentquest morning with the other centres. I was in a group performance of “BINGO” and was a dog! It was nice to see the other centres! Wilrose won the Talentquest! Yay!
