Whanau Day

 I had a fun day at our Wilrose Whanau Day where our staff brought in their children and grandchildren. We played so many fun games, danced, sung songs and learnt moves to Te Reo songs, did some colouring in activities and ate a yummy sausage sizzle. 

Rest Home Bingo

 I enjoyed playing bingo with the residents at the Fraser Manor Rest Home. It was our first visit back after the Christmas break and they were happy to see us. I love seeing them too. 

Historic Village

 It’s great to be back at Arohanui - I enjoyed cooking this morning and then a lovely walk through the trees in the historic village. We saw a cute black and yellow ladybug.

Aongatete camp

 Camp was wonderful. I had lots of fun with my friends. I went for a walk in the Forrest at night and saw wetas, glow worms and a giant spider! Karen showed us the different pests that they trap in the Forrest to keep the birds and trees safe. I can’t wait until the next camp!

Team work

 I helped the guys out in the learning through discovery group to put up the gazebo for our Christmas disco day. We had to work together to follow the instructions and sort all the pieces into the piles before we started. It was hard work but I helped to get the job done! 

Kaituna river

 Well look at me I had an awesome visit to Kai tuna river it was great fun

Obstacle Course At the Hills Orchard

 I loved going to The Hills Orchard and doing the obstacle course with the Discovery Group. I want to do it again! We had sausages on the BBQ afterwards too - what a great day!
